The government has announced the shutdown of all non-essential services.

Our art gallery falls into this category, therefore effective immediately, the gallery will be closed.

We have not received all entries to the Archies and with the gallery now closed there will not be the opportunity to deliver them.

It has been decided to postpone judging to a date in the future. If and when regulations are relaxed, you will be informed of new details and the opportunity to deliver your entry. Those entries already at the gallery will be kept securely until judging can be done.

Facebook and our website will be updated with any developments.

We thank you for your understanding in these very trying circumstances.

Due to the escalation of the COVID19 virus the committee has decided that it would be inappropriate to stage the opening night of the Archies on Friday 27th March.

The risk of infection is too great in the confined space of the gallery premises.

The competition will still go ahead with judging and allocation of prizes.

Further, we intend to exhibit all entries in the gallery for the period Friday 27th March to Sunday 5th April.

We ask that all entrants deliver their paintings by Wednesday 25th March as previously arranged.

We apologise for any inconvenience but the safety of our members and guests is our main concern.
