Jacqueline McCoy

Jacqueline Immens McCoy's artworks range in subject matter between chickens, native Australian birds, thatched cottages and flowers. These themes provide her with both joy and an element of escape. Screenprints, sculpture and painting are the media of choice at present.

"Picking up tools to create a work that's decanted from my environment has allowed me to lose myself in the process and deal with a traumatic few years. Hand building has always appealed to me. Using my hands and other tools to create a sculpture, organic vase or a screenprint is a creative method that is very satisfying...developing the image or form bit-by-bit is at the heart of making for me."
